Casa 231 is an ALL NEW luxurious two bedroom, two bath beachfront Casa. It is located on the first floor.

Due to our unique location you can't get closer to the water and sand if you tried! It's approximately 30' away! In addition, we are at a turning basin in the bay which allows for front row viewing of all the fabulous Newport boating activity!

Watch the beach and boating activity from the comfort of your living room, and of course, from your large private front courtyard (which is great for outdoor dining). The courtyard is covered and walled (with beautiful gardens including star jasmine and gardenias) on both sides offering a feeling of privacy and unmatched coziness while enjoying the gorgeous full bay and beach views. It also affords front-row seating for the fourth of July Boat Parade and the world-famous Newport Harbor Christmas Boat Parade.

The interiors are beautifully decorated with hand-scraped distressed wood floors through-out.

The living room is large with a wall of sliding glass doors opening to the courtyard and the beach and bay views beyond. The decor is a British Colonial meets Tommy Bahama theme. The furnishings are upscale beautiful white slip-covered sofa, chair and a half, and Martha Stewart rattan for maximum seating and comfort. There is a beautiful West Indies armoire that houses the flat-screen tv, dvd/vcr players.

The large gorgeous gourmet kitchen has all stainless steel appliances including a professional DCS range, granite counter tops, and custom cabinetry. The kitchen is open to the living room and has sit down views from the unique round granite bar area. There is a laundry and pantry off the kitchen.

There is sleeping for four in beds. The master has a brand new Westin Heavenly Cal King and the second bedroom has a queen Westin Heavenly pillow top. We have a NEW Hi-Line double height twin air mattress with auto inflate/deflate that can be provided for a 5th guest...please ask when reserving. Both rooms have built-ins in the closets (Master has a walk-in) to provide organization and more space.

They are painted in a neutral color, enhancing the lively furnishings and artwork. The french doors and swing-in side windows are covered with white wood blinds and open to the large rear courtyard with beautiful gardens retained by a stone covered and capped wall.

The baths, one private to the master, are all new with beautiful limestone, and beadboard (second bath).

Both bedrooms are perfectly decorated opening out to the huge rear courtyard with inviting Gardens.

From the moment you walk through the Dutch door, you'll feel "at home" - and maybe a little pampered at the beach.

We supply all of the following amenities. All you need is food, beverage, and a vacation attitude. Come see why Casa de Balboa guests return year after year.

You really can have both..the ocean and the bay!

To make it the perfect vacation all Casa's have wireless hi-speed Internet, premium cotton sheets, spa towels (same ones used at the Hotel Bel Air), beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, blow dryers, washer/dryers, Weber gas bbq grills, and commercial outdoor heaters (if needed off season). All you need is your food and beverage!

Parking is not an issue. There is a garage for each Casa and plenty of metered (free at night) and non-metered.

During the months of April, May, June, July, and August, Casa Balboa rents on a Saturday-to-Saturday basis only. A security deposit of $650 is required, and is refunded within 21-30 days of your check-out. We accept personal checks, wire transfers, and bank checks. Sorry, but we are not set up for credit cards.
